No adult holiday is more challenging for people with blood sugar problems than Thanksgiving. The sweets. The cocktails. The mashed potatoes, yams and stuffing. And — puleeze! — pass the desserts!

But this year you won’t have to deprive yourself or feel guilty. That’s why I’ve teamed up with the Test Kitchen crew at MyHealingKitchen.com to create a truly satisfying holiday feast that won’t spike your blood sugar — or spoil your waistline. Believe me, this is truly lavish food so delicious that your nondiabetic friends won’t even suspect it’s good for their blood sugar. (And that means no more “double cooking” and “special meals.” )

Most people think a diabetes-reversing diet is filled with deprivation and boring food. This menu certainly will show them otherwise. The truth is, when you consume a low-carb, low-glycemic diet you can actually reverse Type 2 diabetes and other blood sugar problems; it can assist with managing Type 1 diabetes, too. And that’s certainly worth giving thanks for!

Healing diabetes is easier than you think. (To see just how easy, check out The 30-Day Diabetes Cure.) Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at MyHealingKitchen.com and The 30-Day Diabetes Cure!

The Main Meal

A Farmers Market Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette

Whole Grain Bread and Lentil Stuffing with Turkey Sausage and Sage

Roast Turkey with Mushroom Gravy

Cauliflower and Celery Root Mash with Roasted Garlic

Roasted Fall Vegetables with Goat Cheese

Kale and Roasted Winter Squash with Pecans

Mulled Green Tea and Cider

Desserts

Sweet Potato Chiffon Pie

Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream

Butternut Squash Cheesecake

Enjoy an amazing, guilt free Thanksgiving from the team here at MyHealingKitchen.com and our good friend Dr. Stefan Ripich.

I’ve printed the entire Thanksgiving Recipes, and although my wife and I have been invited to her twin sister’s place for Thanksgiving, I can hardly wait to try these recipes for Christmas. I’ll have to do a lot of shopping to get everything together that I’ll need, but I’ll definitely be looking forward to a delicious meal. Thanks for this great bunch of recipes for the holidays!

    Hi,

I received the book and booklets. I have started reading up to Day 1 – which tells me to avoid ‘sugars’.

So, what do I do next? I do not find a menu plan, food lists to avoid and to use, etc. Am I missing another separate book or booklet of what to eat daily for the next 30 days?

Looking forward to hearing back from you soonest,

    Thanks,
    Zeny

Congratulations, you’ve taken the first step. The 30 DAY DIABETES CURE is a wonderful guide and every day that you follow is a step in the right direction. Each day is a minus or a plus, where you’ll be removing something or adding something to your diet. It is not a meal plan but an information guideline, which has worked for many of our readers. For instance on day one it is a minus, where you learn what sugar is all about and the products you need to eliminate from your current diet and the reasons why. On day 14 you add more beans to your diet etc.
