Chocolate Pecan Macaroons with SLIMTEVIA

Ingredients

  • 3 large egg whites
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Slimtevia
  • 6 ounces baker's chocolate, unsweetened melted
  • 1 cup flaked coconut unsweetened
  • 3/4 cup pecans finely chopped

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and  line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

2. Beat egg whites and salt on high speed with an electric beater.

3. Add Slimtevia and continue beating until soft peaks form.

4. Gently fold melted chocolate, coconut, and pecans into egg whites.

5. Place scoops of cookie dough (about 2 teaspoons per cookie) onto cookie sheet, about 1″ apart.

6. Bake until set, about 10 -12 minutes apiece.  Leave the cookies in the oven, though...

7. Turn  the oven off and leave the macaroons in for 30 minutes.

8. Remove and let cool completely.
