Here’s a tasty drink that won’t spike your blood sugar. Pungent green tea, creamy yogurt and the sunny tones of citrus create a great melody of flavors. And almost all of these ingredients fight diabetes: green tea and yogurt lower blood sugar and help you lose weight, while the vitamin C in the citrus helps protect against heart complications of diabetes. It’s quick, easy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup green tea
  • 1 cup yogurt plain
  • 1 teaspoon stevia
  • 2 tangerine(s) juice of
  • 1 grapefruit(s) juice of

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.

Chill for 10-15 minutes.

TIPS AND NOTES:

Add a dash of coriander or cayenne for some kick.
